Received RFE FOR I485, to send proof of spouse US Citizenship.
Hello All,
As F2A Category dates are current For GC filing for the month of Oct’19, i have concurrently submitted I 130, I 485, PD date is oct 1st 2019, and received an RFE Nov 26th to provide documents of proof of Spouse US citizenship (US passport, Birth certificate or naturalization certificate) where as my wife is a LPR.
I double checked my I 130 and I 485 forms and I clearly see that I have checked the option to file under F2A( spouse of LPR) but not IR of US citizen.
Last month my wife had her citizenship through naturalization interview and got RFE to provide some documents which we submitted 2 days back.
Question:-
1. Should I respond to my RFE saying I have filed under F2A Category?
2. Or wait until my wife’s certificate of naturalization comes in and then respond with that certificate? which could take 1 or 2 months I believe and I have 87 days to respond to my Rfe.
If anybody is similar situation and have responded this kind of RFE, please guide me how to proceed on it.
I appreciate any help.
