Senator wrote them twice.
Congressman wrote once
Ombudsman intervened once
Service request made was three
Info pass request turned down
Called USCIS over 12 times
Went to lawyer to to initiate a mandamus, a voice said give it one more month.
I stopped the process of filing a mandamus against USCIS, after two weeks, case went outside processing time.
I contacted congressman to inquire why case is delaying despite being out of normal processing time.
Feedback to my congressman says I was in queue to be schedule for a Stokes interview.
After five days of this congressional feedback, my i-485 changed to "case ready to be scheduled for an interview". Two days later case was approved, and card is being produced.
I was shocked. I was busy expecting a mail for my Stokes interview, viola case switched to case is approved
Thank God CARD IS IN HARD. Wow!! this feels good. it was a very emotional journey.
My patience has never been taunted this much. But in all I give God the praise. NYC is one hell of a city🤣🤣
