Visa Stamping at Chennai
I have been reading on this forum for a while now and didn’t see any posts from veterans like me (19 years in US, 5th Stamping on H1B and once on F1). Why I don’t have a GC or Citizenship yet is the story for another day.

Landed from US on Dec 2nd.
Biometric on Dec 3rd.
Visa interview on Dec 4th

Background:

Highest degree: MS from the USA
Employment status: FTE Since 2017
GC status: Approved I-140
Potential Issue: DUI on St.Patrick’s day in 200X.

Interview:

VO: White male between 35-42, with well-kept black and pepper beard, clean cut, rolled up sleeves, pink floral tie. In short very GQish, peppy looking dude with a smile.
VO: Good Morning!
H1-B Coolie/HC: Morning Officer!
VO: Can I have your Passport please!
HC: Slid the passport across
VO: What is “XYZ”?
HC: blah blah blah blah
VO: What is your salary
HC: blah with ton of brown pride!
VO: Where do you work?
HC: NYC
VO: Chuckles and says “FUN”
VO: What do you do?
HC: Very specific Blah blah blah blah
VO: I looked at your age, you don’t look a day older than 22
HC: I will take that as a compliment officer with a grin.
VO: Do you have recipe for that?
HC: I wish. I would be a rich man by now.
VO: I bet!
VO: Looks like you had an incident before Year xxxx. What happened?
HC: I had a DUI on St.Patricks day in 200X.
VO: That’s in ancient history but still need to be documented.
HC: hmmmmmm with a quizzical look (owned it)
VO: Did you serve any Jail time?
HC: NO officer (Hell no senor in my mind)
VO: No incidents since then?
HC: One is too many officer
VO: I bet!
VO: Starts to accumulate keystrokes and looks at his screen for 5 mins and finally, he speaks
VO: Will anyone be joining you?
HC: Not this time officer.
VO: Your VISA is approved, have safe journey back (with a Peace sign) and hands over the green flyer about passport tracking.

Only document VO was asked for is my passport and nothing else.
