I went to Ottawa for L1-A blanket interview and it was approved.
Stay in
https://www.bywardblueinn.ca/ 5 mins walk from consulate, but this hotel dont have kitchens so, not good for family. Rate was 108 CAD per night.
- went to consulate at 7.25, it was freezing outside, they made us wait till 7.50 then called for 7.30
appoinment batch, enterted in, asked for appoinment letter, passport, previous & current I-797.
- Dont carry any electronics with you, consulate doesn't allow.
- Went to counter 1 to pay fees (specific to L1-A blanket petition)
- My turn came after 12-15 mins wait in queue

Got tracking numbre on Monday evening, collected passport from Canada post Tuesday 4.30 PM EST.
Went back to USA Thursday morning, CBP offider just asked - where do you work, and that's it.
