The consular officer asked multiple questions about job, company, salary, OPT dates, graduation date, if I have ever been out of status, when did my H1B start etc.
Officer left the desk to talk to someone. The officer came back and issued a pink slip and wrote my case number on it and asked me to submit all the documents that are applicable to me (Resume/CV, Detailed work history, Contact information). I submitted the documents on Nov 14th, 2019.

I work in automobile manufacturing full-time. I was supposed to return to the U.S end of last month. Now stuck here until a decision is made by the consulate.
Anyone with a similar experience? How long might this take?
