I-485 AOS interview marriage based
I had my interview on 11/20/2019 (3 weeks before) at Irving, TX field office, interview lasted about 50 minutes as officer had gone through all questions on i485,i130. She asked us simple questions such as How we met, where we met, where we do work, if my wife knew my ex wife. I and my wife both live with my mother in law in her house and all utilities bills are on my mother in law’s name so we had a letter from my mother in law stating that I and my wife live with her in house but the officer said we needed to get the letter notarized. We provided auto, health insurance, bank statements for one year which has same address, marriage certificate, previous marriage’s divorce decree, driver license also has same address...! Officer asked for 10-12 pictures with friends and family and we gave her it. I offered her to see our album but she didn’t want to see as she was in hurry to conduct someone else interview after us. She mentioned that I still had one mail going to my old address where I used to live with my ex wife, I don’t know which one it is as I had changed address on all of my documents so I asked officer if she was able to tell me and I could fix it but she said “ I have to find it out myself” I have been trying to find out but not getting it. My ex wife also don’t live at that address anymore. Has anyone experienced this? At the end of the interview she said that she will review the case and let us know if she needs anything else from us and due to coming thanks giving break they will let us know the decision by December. I haven’t received any update yet and status shows as “ Interview has been scheduled”. I am stressed out. Do you think it is a sign of possible second interview or RFE? *** Just for your knowledge Officer also said that they are given 40 minutes to conduct each interview. ***
