Adjustment of Status - I-485

Good morning to you All
This is just a repeat but again this forum is very helpful to many of the people who come here for information, ask questions, share their thoughts and experiences.
I also wanted to share my experience through my green card process.
I was first approved my DACA in 2013 and went on to renew every 2 years up until 2017 the last time. My wife and I got a marriage certificate in March 2017 after she became a citizen, however we meet in 2008 and got married islamically in 2011. For those who do not understand, as Muslims we are required to be married my an imam with witnesses as well. This 2011 marriage certificate we used to show that our marriage is bonafide even tho the one we got in NY is dated 2017.

Dates:
PD June 11 2018
Received June 13 2018
Ready to be scheduled for interview October 24 2018
Biometrics July 3rd
Interview scheduled for Dec 3 2019, Notice sent on October 28 2019
GC approved on the spot
GC received Dec 11
 
Interview was totally relaxing. Officer just help a regular conversation with questions here and there just to double check and match with info on the application. Lasted about 20 mins after that he said you are approved nothing sticks out or raises any concern to me. Should receive green card in a week or two. In the afternoon of the same day statuses online changed to approved. Next day green card ordered. about 3 days after notice of USPS picking up the package for delivery.
In total the process lasted from June 2018 to december 2019.
So NYkers get ready as our process takes longer than many other parts of the country.
Next stop: citizenship in 3 years.
