the process of EAD
Hi guys,
As most of the people here, i am frustrated and stressed. I am checking the status every half hour. I keep telling myself there is nothing to be worried, but to be understood. when you understand more, you worry less. So i am wondering if anyone here really understand the process? How USCIS handle the files that really impact our lives.

We filed i485 with i765 mid august. finger print done mid september. We did expedite on 11/21 and got denied on 11/26. We called and asked why it got denied. Officer said he doesn't know why. But he said the file is with adjudication officer, he said it is a good thing. But it has been a few weeks, still nothing. I have two scenarios in my head. I don't know if anyone here have some knowledge of the process.

1. Once we submit our case, It goes into a big room. Every week or month, they assign some cases to the caseworker? Once your case is on the case officer's desk, it means they will look at your case in certain time frame? So it's a good thing if they tell us your case is with a case worker/officer?

2. Once we submit our case, it automatic assigned to a caseworker, the case worker can have piles of files on her/his desk already. so it is in your luck, if you assigned to one who is not totally back logged.

Any insights?
