Citizenship Interview in San Antonio, TX
N-400 application based on 3 years of residency

Application Date: July 10th 2019
Biometrics Date: August 1st 2019
Interview Date: December 9th 2019
Oath Ceremony Date: TBD

Status: Approved

Quick Overview:
• Officer asked for my original birth certificate to verify my middle name. However; it wasn’t explicitly mentioned on the certificate. Changed the name at the interview (to add the middle name)
• First 6 civic questions asked were answered correctly.
• Read “Who lives in the White House”, Write “The President lives in the White House”.
• All Part 12 questions on the forms were asked and confirmed
• I had two additional international trips since application submission so provided the officer an amendment.
• Provided the officer with an amendment for the citation question I had forgotten to mention in my original application and an additional one which I received last month.
• Other questions: Spouse’s bday, current address, parents if US citizens, Phone number, Employer name, Date of residence in San Antonio.

Office provided me a document checking the box “Decision cannot be made at this time..” because she wanted to check with the supervisor on the additional citation I had received for which I had accepted differed disposition. But she was confident it would be approved.

As we were leaving she told us that she checked with the supervisor and he/she approved the application so she gave me a new document checking the box “Congratulations…”

Waiting for the Oath Ceremony.

All the best to everyone
