Just filed expedite request on i131, i765
Hi Everyone!
I know I would keep updating and something just changed on my app under i765, and I have no idea what that means regarding my expedite request.
To sum up my timeline so far:
7/18/2019 PD
8/13/2019 Biometrics done
9/13/2019 RFIE (i-485) regarding long birth certificate sent (BUT I already submitted multiple copied of the long birth certificate to them in my original file)
9/19/2019 RFIE received and responded on the next day
9/25/2019 Response was received at NBC
And I have had a very long wait.
Since my old job was waiting to hire me back since July and I need to travel abroad in Feb 2020, I filed expedite request for i131 and i765 on 12/10/2019
Several comments on my posts about the expedite request encouraged me to file it and I won't lose anything. And I was ready to raise this to congressmen if I had to.
When I filed expedite requests, the live agent told me to look out for an email from USCIS asking for proof or some docs in the next 5 days. Upon checking the proof they will decide to accept the request or deny. It's past 3 days now and I got no email from them.
And this afternoon, a change was made on my USCIS app, under i765, it now says 'CASE WAS UPDATED TO SHOW FINGERPRINTS WERE TAKEN'
WHAT the heck DOES THIS MEAN?? Does anyone know what this mean? I believed the status before this under i765 was finger prints were taken/reviewed.
Please shed some light on my confusion, thank you!
