USCIS working on weekends?
Hey people,
I was checking the processing times over the past weekend.
The date for inquiry seems to be going forward day by day, even on weekends.
The date was May 24th for EAD in NBC last Friday, It became 25th on Saturday, 26th on Sunday, and today it got to the 27th before the page became unreachable.
This could be explained in one of two ways:
1) USCIS works on weekends or
2) The date is on "auto-pilot". System probably does +1 every day without any human interaction.
I think 2) is more likely.
That could even explain why occasionally USCIS pulls the date back by a few weeks. I imagine the date going forward every day, by one day, and then some officer notices after a few weeks "Oh shoot, it went to far, call the IT department tell them to roll it back".
In other words we shouldn't place much hope in those dates.
