Automatic EAD Extension for Adjustment of Status Applicants

Not sure if you all are aware but...
1) If you are an AOS applicant, you can renew your EAD up to six months before your current one expires without paying additional fees.
2) Due to USCIS’ growing backlog, they are automatically extending EADs upon your filing of your work permit, which includes but is not limited to eligibility category C9. The Notice of Action (I-797) is evidence of your extension. So even if you have not received your new EAD, you are subject to the automatic 6-month extension and thus have the legal right to work in the US.
3) Please spread the word if you were unaware of this policy change.
