Interview Experience
INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE..

I live in Delaware but my interview was scheduled in Philadelphia, PA. so had to travel 1 hr with the Mrs, got there about 45 mins earlier. Went through the whole security hassles at the entrance. Did a name confirmation check at the reception and was told to wait at gate 3. Went in and the waiting game began for almost 2 hours as i was watching people’s facial expression as they were coming out from there interview.. some with smiles, some with straight face (You can call me jobless 😂). After 2 hours my wife was starting to get angry as people who had met us there had gone in for their interviews and had finished and gone out, my wife had to quickly go outside to pay for an additional 2 hours parking and immediately she left I had my name called at Gate 2. Looked at the lady’s face and she had a straight face (no smile) Had to walk up to the lady and tell her my wife had gone to pay at the car meter, so she gave us 5 mins and when she returned after 5 mins my wife wasn’t back so she called in the next couple but then we both saw my wife running back so she waited and introduced herself while walking us into her office for the interview. The lady told us to remain standing and we took at oath swearing before sitting. This was where God proved he was God.. the lady who had a frowning face started smiling as she asked why I lost so much weight since I entered America and asked my wife why she wasn’t feeding me well...as she had checked out file and pictures before we got inside.. it was such a beautiful interview that for the first 20 mins she was just advising us and telling us her stories but professional at the same time... interview started after 35 mins of just having a general conversation and she asked my wife for the story of how we met? Who proposed? She asked me dates of when I moved to the US? my point of entry? Why I came in through California and the yes or no questions on the I-485 form and I was honest to say Yes on if I was denied visa to the US twice. she stopped questions and asked why I was denied? I told her and she looked at our wedding photos selecting random photos, asking me of the people who were in the photos. I made a total copy of 45 photos, she took about 15 copies and She told us interview was over. My wife asked if we passed jokingly but she said we would find out in 8 weeks... Unlike some other stories I have read here, I didn’t get any paper at the end of my interview and I felt sad because I thought we were going to be called for a second interview. So I kept on checking all day but at about 8pm I saw my application had changed to New card is being produced. I screamed and showed my wife.

Case was approved : Dec 5, 2019

I just want to thank God for his faithfulness that he has put so much smiles on my face and someone here once said when you give God the glory, he will give you the victory. This is the end of my journey here. To all those still waiting, I pray that you’ll would also receive your own good news soon. stay positive and never give up.
