12/18/19 - Interview @ 26 Federal Plaza NYC

My interview experience wasn't too bad. Interview lasted about 30 mins. Towards the end the interviewer asked if I had an updated medical exam with me, because the original one that was submitted was expired! I was so upset! As you can see this has been a really long process for me and I was so annoyed that they didn't inform me of this prior to the interview. Anyways the interviewer informed me that he would send out an RFE for a new medical exam to either be hand delivered back into the office or mailed. So I am currently waiting on that. I went ahead and made an apt to see a civil surgeon to get medical exam done so when the RFE is mailed out to me that will be one less thing to worry about. I have seen that other people received their RFE from the Immigration officer at the end of the interview so I'm wondering why the same wasn't done in my case?

Anyone else currently in the same situation from this same office? or recently went through it and can share their timeline on how long it took to receive the RFE for medical exam? and how long it took to get green card after?

It's only been 9 days since my interview but I am getting so anxious! My husband and I are so ready to be over and done with this long process.
