Stuck "Security Checks are Still Pending"
Refreshing my post to top to gather more responses.

I don’t think my case will ever come back (over 2 yrs since filed). If anyone has experience or heard of applicants stuck at security checks eventually receiving adjudication, (esp employment based) please post. Nothing is random so any precedents that can shed light on what they don’t like about it would be very helpful.

- PD (PERM) 10/3/16
- I-485 confirmation receipt (NSC) 10/16/17
- Interview (NY) 6/11/18, given “Reason for Continuance: You case is being held for review” document
- Aug 19 (OFNP inquiry to NY Office):
- “Your case is currently delayed because the required security checks are still pending. We cannot make a decision on your case until we receive the results of these security checks.”
- Aug 19 USCIS response to Senator
- “Please be advise that this case is currently awaiting a related file. Once the file has been retrieved, the officer will move forward with adjudication.”
- OFNP Inquiry dates: 12/5/17 (NY), 4/4/18 (NSC)
- Asian birthplace (not a slow-track chargeability)
- On to 3rd EAD card
