Odd, unfortunate situation
**** **** **** **** **** **** **Odd Situation **** **** **** **** **** **** **** ***

Hello everyone,

First off, this is the most helpful thread I've ever seen. Great to see everyone helping each other out.

I'm in an odd situation, and have been feeling anxious and defeated, just like many of you. I received my EAD card more than 24 months ago. I am still waiting for them to schedule my interview.

One lawyer says he thinks it's going to be okay. A different lawyer suspects that something is wrong since all his other clients are receiving interviews 2-5 months after the EAD card. Both lawyers claim that all I can do for now is to wait.

I read through many of the other comments and it seems like everyone is receiving their interviews in 2-5 months, except a few cases where it took 5-12 months.

What's weird is that I received my EAD card. I had to renew it after 12 months and had no problem receiving a new one. I'm thankful for this at least.

Anyone out there who's been waiting for this long?
