Hey guys want to give you an update. I had my interview today @ 9am at the newark location. My officer was very professional and friendly.
PD April 3, 2019 married to USC
August 19th received update that case was ready to be scheduled for interview
October received EAD card (didnt do combo cards)
November 29th case was scheduled for interview and notice was sent in mail.
QUESTIONS ASKED IN THE INTERVIEW
She mostly asked me the questions:
To me:
Husbands full name
His parents name
Our address
When and where we got married
Who proposed and how?
Where did i go to school once here
Where do i work
What do we like to do together or for fun
Have we taken any trips together
Date of my last entry into the country
The visa i came on
How long we have been dating
Any plans for our anniversary?
Asked for pictures and joint documents. Took copies of both
Then some of the questions from the i-130 and i-485
To my husband
Wife’s full name
Wife parents names and country they live
Siblings name and country they live
Has he ever been married
Does he have kids outside the marriage
Thats it. At the end she went our the papers and said ‘everything looks good. Thats it guys. Let me confirm the address is **** ?’ We both said yes and then she said
‘im going to review your file again if i need anything i will send you a letter if not you will get your green card’
Hope this helps someone. So now we are waiting. Hopefully we get approved. Husband is off to work and im home for the day praying that we get approved and soon.
