Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hi guys! I just wanted to share my experiences and hope it can help someone

This is my timeline

I-130, I-131, I-485, I-785- 02/19/2019
Biometric notice date- 03/01/2019
Biometric schedule date- 03/15/2019
Case was ready for interview- 03/22/2019
Received EAD card and AP- 05/24/2019
Interview notice date- 12/08/2019
Interview date- 01/15/2020
Online update- new card is being produced on the same day as interview about 2 hours later

We waited about 20 mins before the officer called us in for the interview. The first thing he said when he went into his office was that he look through our file and everything looks good. However, he still need to ask some questions. He only asked when, how and where my husband and I first met? Who proposed and when did the proposal happen. Next,he proceed to ask all the I-485 questions. That was all he asked us. We gave him all our jointed documents( lease agreement, health and dental insurances, car insurances, emergency form, bank statements, AAA membership). We gave him about 20 pictures of us as well and we labelled the date, location and people in the picture. After that the officer just told us to wait in the waiting room again while he approve the case. It took about 20 minutes and the officer came out and gave me the "Welcome to the United States" paper and said congratulations you have been approved.

The officer was extremely friendly and the whole interview took about 15 mins. He was having small talk with us through the interview and made us feel less nervous.
