Washington, DC (Fairfax, VA field office) filer:
06/17/2019: Sent application based on 5-years GC
06/22/2019: Biometrics notification (online, letter few days later)
06/27/2019: Completed biometrics
12/09/2019: Interview notification (online, letter few days later)
01/13/2019: Interview
01/13/2019: Online status changed to "You attended you interview" and has been stuck there...
Interview was a pleasant experience. I arrived 20 mins early, interview started right on time, and lasted about 20 mins. First, verified and updated the information on the application - addresses, new travel since application. Second was the civics and reading/writing test, pretty standard. Third, we went through all the yes/no questions on background.
At the end of the interview, the officer gave a letter marked "a decision cannot be made yet..." but explained that it was only because she was a new officer and needed to get a superior to approve her decision. She told me that I should get approval notification online later that day, and a letter with oath ceremony details a few days after.
BUT, haven't got anything so far and online status stuck at "You attended your interview..."
Anyone else experienced something similar? How long did it take to get the process moving again? Did you do something to get it moving?
