Hi, I sent out my application in July 2019, biometrics was in August, received EAD and advance parole in December.

Interview was scheduled in December for January 16th, yesterday.

Interview was okay, the interviewer was not exactly polite and kept interrupting as I was answering her questions (all geared at me) but I dont think I said anything wrong. We did not get an update on the spot, and my status is also stagnant. We were really excited going into the interview but we are a bit down about it.

My issue is that at the end of the interview, before she sent us off, she wrote my case number on my passport in red, saying that it is in progress. I have never heard of this being done before and was wondering if that is normal/common?

I am travelling for two weeks in a month. I have advance parole but I am anxious about travelling. Any help will be appreciated!
