APPROVED! Long post alert!
Here I am again, not to ask a question but to thank God almighty and to give hope to everyone out there who is lost in this pool of immigration.
My spouse and I have been married for 2 years and have been going through the immigration process since Jan 2019. After spending so much money (we did it ourselves but had to refile since somehow my BC was missing in the initial documents) had to hire a lawyer to refile. My EAD was denied and no one not even the lawyer knew why. I was so frustrated and one year later...YES ONE YEAR later, I finally got my day and today I am able to testify on God's faithfulness and mercy.
We had our Interview 2 days ago. It went well.
At first the IO was super intimidating but toward the end of the interview she had warmed up. Not necessarily friendly but nice.
We were asked how we met, when and where, joint assets, any kids, if we've met each others parents and the other yes or no questions on the form.
It was not what I expected at all. After we were wished a good day with no idea if I got it or not but I had a good feeling it went okay after the IO mentioned something about 'when you go your citizenship interview you'll need xxxxxxx).
On our way back home I checked my status and it had updated to new card is being prepared. then to case was approved.
we are so happy right now. I know how stressful the entire process may be but just just have faith in God and prepare well before the interview.
