San Jose FO interview
Here’s my San Jose FO experience of AOS based on marriage to USC:

Timeline:

May 10, 2019 - PD
June 6, 2019 - biometrics done
Nov 7, 2019 - interview ready to be scheduled
Dec 26, 2019 - interview scheduled
Jan 30, 2020 - interview

Interview:

The officer was very warm and friendly, and asked us the standard questions: how we met, how the relationship developed etc.
Then she proceeded to walk through my I-485 and asked me all the Yes/No questions.
We have a child together with my husband, and we were never married before, so our case is pretty straightforward.

At the end of the interview the officer asked me if I wanted to submit additional evidence, so I submitted my bulk of papers: affidavits, joint car/health/renters insurances, child’d birth certificate etc.

All in all I feel good about the interview although no case status update has happened yet. However it’s only been a couple of hours since the interview so I shall be patient.
