I called USCIS to check my case status for any update for i-485 and they told me that it is stated on the system that I am outside normal processing time and usually what she sees is the most accurate information.She said that she will send inquiry for my case. The strange thing that I am not out of normal processing time . She sent inquiry!! I really didn’t want to do that but she sent the request without getting my answer for yes or no!. My office is newark nj office ( processing time is 10.5 to 23 months). It has been 8 months since I applied. I am afraid it will affect my case negatively. any thoughts please ? PD 05/22/2019
