Adjustment Of status and RFIE
Please can anyone help me understand RFIE.
I applied 09/2018 and then got RFIE and a denial letter for the i485 in June 2019. No lawyer was used then and I applied before my B1 visa expired. we filed on our own thinking since we had nothing to hide.
Then spoke to a lawyer and used her service.
Re-Filed July 2019,
Biometric 09/2019
No response for EAD
Today the status online stated RFIE sent out 01/29/2020.
Waiting to get the RFE letter via mail.
1. How long does it take to get the letter?
2. I am nervous because it seems like same thing is happening all over again, what do I do?
My Husband is a USC and I am not working yet because I do not have an EAD which I also filed for, neither do I have a SSN. We currently live with my sister in law because my line of work (applying and interviewing but not working yet waiting for EAD or status change) might take us away from this area which is where we plan to settle because my Husband's work is mobile.
Anyone have the same experience? please share the outcome. Thanks
