Hey all,
I am shocked that no one mentioned this yet but anyone has any additional information about the supreme court’s recent decision to allow denial of GC for people deemed as “public charges”. I live in NYC and I do not qualify for Medicaid. However, I do have an essential plan. I do not use any public services such as food stamps or public housing. I received my conditional green card but I am worried that I’ll have problems removing the conditions.
Any suggestions? Some people told me that it’s better to cancel the essential plan and stay uninsured/pay $600 per month for private insurance but I do not have the means at the moment. I also have a sponsor.
