Using GC EAD while on F1
I am on F1 visa and doing masters. Got married to USC in Sep 2019 and file AOS in Oct 2019. I have received combo card (EAD and AP) in Feb 2020. Oct 2019 to March 2020 I took semester break. Now it is time to register class. But DSO is saying I can not continue F1 visa if I use GC EAD which I didn't use yet.
She is suggesting withdraw from school and use EAD. Take admission again when I will get GC to complete study. OR I can continue study and do not use EAD/AP.
I need suggestion if anyone face similar issue.
Is it advisable to withdraw from school? If I withdraw my sevis will be terminated. In that case does it affect my GC interview or decision?
or I should wait 2-3 month for interview. Status changed in Dec 2019 that case is ready to be scheduled for interview.
