hi all want to share your my experience from SFO. Arrived USA in Nov/2013 on C1 visa and filed for asylum on FEB/2015. got updated on APR/2017 interview after week later they cancelled my interview and send me notice we will reschedule you interview and let you know. nothing came until sep/2017 .
so got married on Sep 2017 and filed for i485 , i765 and i130 together. January/2018 they denied my I485 saying that C1/D visa cannot be adjusted but i130 was still pending.
i received letter from USCIS on AUG/2018 for i130 interview after 3 month it get approved. i dint withdrawn my asylum.
so i apply TPS and left USA on january 2019 with Advance parole for a month and enter usa on advance parole. after i came back on February 2019 i applied again I485, 1765 ,I131.
waited for 6 month got EAD and advance parole approved and received combo card. i left USA again with that advance parole from I485 pending. came back after 10days in USA.
I recevied mail from USCIS for an interview on 28JAN20 at Sanjose. went 30min early. IO was really nice she dint ask anything only she got some picture and gave me white paper which state that she need 120days to update on my status. she told me she doesnot have my asylum file yet she need to get those file before she can change status.
on 04feb20 i check my status " New card produced" I was really happy. i checked it online today it shows CARD IS MAILED TO ME but there is no tracking number. hopefully it will arrived by next week.
