My interview experience
We came about 25-20 minutes before the interview
Go through security check
Go to second floor
Go to the room on interview notice
Security point to the window where we can check in
Checked in they ask for interview notice and driver’s license/id
Took my picture and fingerprints
Told to wait we did not wait long we got called Abt 5-10 minutes after scheduled time
Greeted by our interviewer who asked for our driver’s license/id and he made copies
Go to a room to do the interview, take oath and then he started to ask questions
Pretty basic questions (i don’t remember the exact order of the questions but here are some of the questions i remember)
His name
My birthday and his birthday
Our address
Where do we work
What we do for work
My parents name
Asked to see his birth certificate and marriage license
Where we met
How long until the relationship become serious
When did we get married
Did we meet each other family yet
Asking me yes and no questions lists from the applications
Ask for evidence we bring
I gave him our utilities bills, cell phone bills, joint bank statements, etc
He took all copies
I showed him our photo albums and he look for a little bit and ask us to choose 10 pictures for him to keep in his file
He then gave me a white paper and said that i am going to approve you guys ✅🎊🎉 so we were so happy and say thank you and he said i will get my card within 30 days and he also tell me i need to remove my gc condition about 3 months before it expire.
Then we were talking about other things and we were done
To summarize it was pretty simple questions and no hard or weird or crazy questions. I was nervous but we answer everything he asked and that was that. Good luck to everyone who are still waiting for the interview. It is not as complicated as we all thought to be honest. Just be honest and tell them everything they asked. Hopefully God helps us all and end our journey with approvals! 🙏🏻
