Hello everyone! First of all, this forum has really helped us throughout this entire process. Here is our timeline.

Interview was scheduled January 9, 2020
Interview noticed received January 16, 2020
Interview date February 20, 2020

Our interview was scheduled for 2:15PM but we arrived an hour early. We checked in at 2:10PM and were called by an officer at 2:35PM.

Interview experience:
Our officer appeared to be experienced and was very nice. He informed us that his job was to determine if we had a bona fide marriage. He asked for us to provide all documents that prove we had a bona fide marriage. We provided bank statements, cc statements, daycare reports that show authorize pick up persons, appliance purchase credit contracts, life insurance, auto insurance, memberships, pictures etc. The officer reviewed the documents as they were provided and asked questions if he had any regarding the documents.
Once he was done reviewing the documents and pictures he asked me (the petitioner) the following questions:
1. When did you get married?
2. Where was the wedding?
3. How many guests?
4. Do you have children?
5. Do you get along with in-laws?
He asked my spouse (Beneficiary) the following questions:
1. Have you ever been arrested?
2. Have you ever been deported?
3. Why did you overstay your VISA?
4. How many times have you entered the US?
5. Why did you get married?

He then said “Congratulations, I am approving your green card today!”
Our interview was a total of 20 mins. In the Houston, Texas office.

The entire interview was held more like a friendly conversation. Just go in there ready and confident!

We were approved on the spot! Thanks be to God!

Guys just keep praying and soon this process will be behind you all as well.

Good Luck to everyone! If you have questions, ask away.
