Adjustment of Status - I-485

HI guys i want to share my experience with you and give everyone hope. I came on a B1/B2 visa december 2018 met my husband a few weeks after and we got married in April 2019. He lost his job a few days to the wedding so things were hard after that but we filed in August, I got my EAD in January and we both working now. This whole process has been quite stressful with the wait and uncertainty and not being able to work or earn money. Took a toll on me mentally and affected our marriage too.

But all that is behind us. Today we attended our interview and we were approved on the spot. We spent only about 15mins in the room. The io asked us very few questions about how we met, when we met, where we lived and the standard terrorist questions.

He said just from seeing us interact we already proven our marriage is genuine so he was going to approve us. He didnt stamp my passport but showed me his printout showing the card production and approvals on both the i485 and i130. ANd i got the notification from USCICS right in the office.

Overall i was really happy it went so smoothly and he didnt even ask to see any thing we came with except our ids.

I want to share this with you maybe it will ease someone's stress. I know reading here helped me a lot.

As long as your application is genuine, do not stress. Everything will work our well.
