Married in NY, moved to TX- had applied for asylum years before
Hello everyone!

My story starts with me coming to the US through a Visa waiver program holding a EU passport. I applied for asylum and I got attacked by the governments attorney for not really needing a green card and I can go live anywhere in the EU away from my country where I had the issue and I was asking for asylum in the US. All my family are American citizens but me- I stayed back to finish school and also because I had a fiance. long story short the honorable judge helped the situation by giving me an EAD card and SSN and said its better for me to cancel the case and just remain with the ead provided.

several years passed and I met my husband and we got married in Nov 2018 in NY at the courthouse. In summer 2019 we also got married at the church.

NBC is the process center.

- We sent in the I130 & I1485 September 2019
- received October 14
- went for fingerprints November 19
- December 16 they sent me a Request for Initial Evidence asking for a new copy of my birth certificate, as long as new sponsor (even though my husband is a doctor and he makes over 230K) which our attorney said its probably a mistake or they just needed more proof of income.
so
- on Feb 20,20 we sent them extra files showing we have money in the bank plus letter from employer and last tax returns and my birth certificate.
- they received the RFIE Feb 24.

 Question is:

How long will it take for them to see that my husband is a good sponsor and when will they schedule the interview. has anyone had this sponsor issue?
Also we got married in NY and now living in Texas, where will the interview take place?

many thanks!
