New card being produced
Oh man.

Do I need to share this finally.
As of half an hour ago the status changed to this.

Brief summary:
F1 Student marrying a Green Card holder (me)

02/28/2018 Applied for I-130
01/06/2019 I-130 Received date becomes current (LPR marriage has to wait for this vs citizen marriage doesn't)
11/06/2019 USCIS received I-485, i-765. I-131 (received date)
09/05/2019 I-130 became outside of normal processing time, Case inquiry opened
09/21/2019 I-130 case inquiry answered with a lawyer talk "we are working on it"
09/30/2019 I-130 Approved
01/17/2020 I-765 and I-131 Outside of normal processing time, Case inquiry for I-765 raised. Contacted local congresswomen.
02/17/2020 Case inquiry still unanswered, opened a second one (30 days)
02/17/2020 Contacted Ombudsman office
02/25/2020 I-485 change "Ready to schedule an interview"
02/27/2020 Ombudsman office decides to send an Inquiry about our case.
03/05/2020 Congresswomen office tells us that USCIS hasn't answered to the congressional inquiry, ask us to give a reason to expedite.
03/06/2020 I-765 "new Card being produced"

Interestingly we pinged the congresswomen office today and told them that the status just changed.
They replied that it is great news, and that they literally just "nudged" them this morning.
Whether this did something i guess i will never know.
Or it could have been the Ombudsman?

or maybe it is completely unrelated, somebody decided to take our case off the shelf.

So there was no RFIEs, no question, no reasons for this delay.
but you have no idea how happy i am, and my pregnant wife.
i wish you all could see her face right now!

I would advise everyone to ping your congressman and ombudsman. Think about it. It is free, and it could potentially help. There are no downsides to that.

Thank you all.
