Typo on Green Card
Hey Everyone,

After finally thinking this process had come to a close, there's another hurdle to jump over...

My husband and I had out interview at the fairfax, VA office on 2/27/2020. We were approved the very same day. Within a matter of hours. Couldn't be happier.

Today my husband picked up his green card from the attorney's office and found that USCIS had mistakenly backdated the issue date and expiration date by 1 year. Instead of the issue date being 2/27/2020 and the expiration date being 2/27/2020, his card says 2/27/2019 and 2/27/2021 respectively.

We are working with our attorney's to fill out the I-90 form and send back the greencard to get corrected.

We also already have booked international travel, so we have also called to schedule an infopass appointment in order to get a stamp in his passport that allows him to be secure traveling while his card is being corrected.

My questions:
1. Has anyone ever experienced this?

2. If so, how long did it take after filing the I-90 to get the corrected card sent back out to you?

3. Has anyone every had to make an infopass appointment to get the permanent resident stamp in their passport for travel purposes, and how far out was your appointment scheduled from when USCIS called you back to make it?

Appreciate any guidance in this situation!
