Things to do after getting Green Card
Hi All,
I received my green card in the mail yesterday. My journey is over, for now.

I am wondering what things need to be done after getting a green card. I am already in the US on H1B status and now I am Permanent Resident.

1. I need to notify employer to update the I-9 form to change th status from H1B to GC.
2. I already have SSN card for over 13 years with my H1B. Do I need to update my status on the SSN to reflect Permanent Resident?
3. When I opened all the bank accounts 10 years ago, they also wrote down my immigration status as immigrant visa, do I need to update those as well?
4. Do I need to do anything differently while filing income tax?
5. Anything else I need to do?
