Interview documents Preparation
Hey guys, how’re y’all doing. My marriage based GC interview is scheduled for this Monday. Looking forward to share my experience when we’re done with it. We are both nervous and excited at the same time. I have a few questions on what Documents do I need to take with us for the interview. So far, we have put together a copy of all the applications submitted (i765,i130,i864,i485) and copies of initial evidence submitted like different bills we share on the household, pictures, lease and auto insurance.
I’m bringing more stuffs like additional bills or recent bills like utilities on her name and internet on mine, lease, phone records between our cell phones for few months, auto insurance (which is the only one with both our names are on together besides the lease) and pictures from one year anniversary honeymoon trip, wedding pics and social media posts where we post about each other over the course of two years.
My questions are what original docs should we take beside Birth certificate, passport , interview notice and marriage certificate. Will I need the original copy of the applications submitted initially ?
My BIL is my joint sponsor, and we submitted his birth certificate, W2 and pay slip for an year. Will I need those originals too?
What kind of clothes is appropriate to wear?
I know it’s kind of a last minute questions but I’m tryna make sure I don’t miss any obvious things that I need to take. Thanks for all the suggestions.
