i-485 interview at Hartford CT field office
good morning people,
Today my wife and i went for the interview in CT, Hartford. we were scheduled for 10 am, we got there at 9:30 went through the security checks so far everything was good. we were called i will say 10 min after checking in. we were interviewed by an Asian officer which i prefer to keep the name private (ahah we never know). he was very serious i will say he kept it professional through the whole interview, the wife and i got a bit nervous but we kept our composure. the IO started by getting all our documents, he went through them, and he follows with some basics questions just to make sure everything was correct. WE WERE NOT SEPARATED. he then went through the i485 yes or no questions and finally, he asked my wife how we met and how was the wedding.
we went with a ton of proof like our tax transcript, album (photo), lease contract, bills and emails bunch of other stuff....
he reviewed them all after that, we were done. I think it was approximately 10:40 when we finished.
at the end of the interview, he handed me a white paper that stated: " your case is being held for review." i got a little upset but what can i do? we left, soon I got to work I looked on my case tracker and it said "NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED" I took a deep breath and now I guess I am waiting to see what's next.
anybody knows at this point what is the next move? how long from the card is being produced to actually receive the card?
