Hello
I have completed the DS-160 form but haven't submitted and I already have scheduled my H1B Visa appointment at Mumbai on 1st April.
I have couple of questions:
1) I have planned travels starting from 28th March and return after 3 weeks. Since, due to COVID - 19, India has put bars on travelers from all major countries including Spain, Germany and France. United States in right after these countries in terms of number of positive cases for COVID - 19.
Is this a good time to travel and "risk" to come back or would these dates have a potential to create any travel issues?
2) If the DS-160 is not submitted, and I have already used two attempts on VISA appointment rescheduling option, is it possible to use the same DS-160 form and reschedule the appointment for available dates in October, 2020?
How far I would be able to review the available VISA dates? Is it reasonable to just cancel this VISA appointment and take a fresh start once the COVID - 19 chaos settles down - maybe by towards the end of this year?
Any inputs / thoughts will be highly appreciated.
