Hi All,
First of all, I wanna say a big THANK YOU to all of you! This forum has helped me so much and encouraged me when I was down.
I got my green card approval notice in the mail today! The new card is shipped and on its way to me! I had my interview last Thursday (3/12) and we got approved on the spot. Here is my final timeline update:
PD: 8/12/2019
Finger Print: 9/13/2019
Case Ready to Schedule for Interview: 10/24/2019
EAD/AP Card in hand: 12/6/2019
Interview Scheduled: 2/12/2020
Interview: 3/12/2020
I485/I130 Approval:3/12/2020
New Card Ordered: 3/12/2020
For the interview, it was way more relaxing than we thought.
The agent went through our forms and asked a couple of informational questions alone the way, like do you live together, what is your address, and what's your husband/wife's name.
The only other question he asked outside of the form was: how did you meet and how your relationship progressed. It really just felt like a friendly conversation that we had with a friend. After that, he said I will be receiving my green card in the mail in 2-3 weeks. A couple hours later, my online tracking shows that my case was approved and approval notice was mailed out, and that new card was ordered and being produced.
