Adjustment of Status - I-485

I had a terrible experience with my AOS interview today. Because of an arrest that happened over 10 years ago the heroes adjudicator very angry at my application and placed it under review. she would not listen to my attorney's legal argument that cases older than 10 years cannot be considered as a conviction. Worse there was no Cold Case or conviction in reality. I had a pre-trial intervention and the case was dismissed. Anyways the adjudicator Los in no mindset to hear me or my wife or my attorneys please and placed it under review. What are my options now? Is there any way I can get to consular processing I'll get this approval somehow? I have lived here for 12 yrs and have no family left in my country of origin. If I am sent back it'll be disastrous for my family, finance and life itself. Any advice will be appreciated.
