Interview notice
The words on the tracking system is not clear to me:
"On March 3, 2020, we scheduled an interview for you Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number xxxxx. We will mail you an interview notice...."
I have not received anything yet. So on March 13, 2020, I called USCIS and spoke to a tier-2 office. He explained that the notice of interview has not been mailed yet. Just wait.
So once the notice of interview is mailed, will the case status be,"we mailed your interview notice on MM/DD"? Do I expect the interview notice shortly since it says,"we will mail you.. "?
Since the interview is usually scheduled 4-5 weeks from the date that is reflected on the case status, I guess my interview will be likely in the beginning of April. Hope I can get the interview notice or any reschedule notice in time and that the field offices are open to public again after April 1. Of course hope everyone is safe.
