Adjustment of Status - I-485

We thought our interview went well until my status changed one month after interview.

On March 19, 2020, we began reviewing your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number MSC189. We mailed you a notice informing you of the action we intend to take on your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice and submit any requested materials.

We received the letter and it was NOID. They ran my background check and could not verify were I lived before which thankfully I have a received from moving company that has the address 2017. They said during interview my wife forgot my father’s name which she told the officer we don’t really talk about my dad because he does long time ago and he even told me sorry and laugh over it. When I asked of my wife father’s name I told the officer and he ask if that was my wife family name then my wife said no because her parents wasn’t married before she realized she interrupted the question and the officer didn’t say anything. My wife forgot our sponsor name because it was Africa name she could only say the first Letter and the interview seem. The last one was my missing photo I’d from the form so they want us to send a new one. They also said I quit my job in Africa Dec 31 and came to US Jan 28 and that was because is a family hotel business which I was a manager. I’’m guessing they already had doubt for our marriage even before the interview bcos it took two years before we received interview notice.

I hope our lawyer can give them give reasons why she forgot my our sponsor and my dad name and we intend to send more prove of Bonafide marriage with a lot of affidavit. They already have a very big file of our evidence which the officer said himself during interview.
