EAD expiring: Termination or Unpaid Leave of Absence
I really need some advice on this. My L2 EAD is expiring next week and My employer is putting me on unpaid leave of absence. with no work or contact.
Since I have worked a few days of this month my Insurance would be covered till the end of the month.
I am worried about the consequences of this on my future applications. Since I would be still be an employee of the company, would this be considered as unauthorized employment?
Also, I am unable to return company's laptop due to coronavirus lockdown.
Should I rather ask them to terminate me?
