About Covid-19 financial aid
Hey guys,
So I heard those with DACA and green cards can also get financial aid from the US government for Covid-19. But my attorney told me in the past that getting any financial aid or benefit from the government before applying for citizenship can jeopardize my chance of getting it. Has anyone received similar advice before? I used to have DACA and got my conditional green card on 3/16 (through marriage) and I'm wondering if it is okay for me to receive the financial aid from the US government for this Coronavirus. I filed a joint tax with my husband already and I think they are sending one check to both of us.
