Interview cancelled but not waived
Hello everyone,
Our AOS interview was supposed to be on 3/18, and it got cancelled. Today we received a letter from USCIS asking us to send evidence of relationship (which we were going to show at the interview). With our original submission we sent our marriage certificate, the lease with both our names and our joint bank account. We didn't send any pictures. What I am saying is, unless you frontloaded your application with evidence, you are not going to get your interview waived
The good thing for us is that they called us to cancel our interview when we were literally closing out door and getting ready to leave. Therefore, we have everything ready. We just need to put it in an envelope and send it. Oh, we submitted the medical with the package, and I am adjusting status from an F1 visa. My FO is Pittsburgh.
