18 month extension after divorce waiver
Hi Everyone,
Hope you guys are staying safe in these trying times.
My question is about receiving 18 month extension when one files for removal of conditions, even if the application is sent without a divorce decree.
It could happen in my case, as I have to remove my conditions by next year, but my divorce is still not finalized. And if it is not finalized by next year also, I'm not sure what are my options in that case.
As per my research , USCIS gives you 87 days to respond after they issue the RFE for missing divorce decree. WHat is not clear to me is that does USCIS issue an RFE sometime during that 18 month window or in this case as soon as i send my application without the divorce decree ?
