Help! Traveled without parole- Application not abandoned
Hi All,
I applied in October. I am adjusting from E2 to GC through marriage. I had no idea I could not travel without parole. I travel to Qatar in November for Thanksgiving and in late December I recieved a notification that my case was ready for interview. Then I traveled to Spain for Christmas. My interview has not been scheduled but my application status still remains the same "ready for interview"
I have not received any letter stating my application was abandoned. I am wondering if it is because I am on E2. I only found one legal website where it is stated that E2 Visa holders on adjustment of status are excluded from applying for parole.

Anyway, my question now is what to do...should I continue waiting for an interview? Can my application be denied AFTER the interview because I traveled? Should I go ahead and file a new application- If I do how will that effect my current application? I really need to be on status of adjustment as if I am starting my MBA in the fall and if I get denied I will have to leave my studies and God knows how log it will take me to get back.
Anyone ever had the same situation where they traveled without parole and din't get denied or have their application be abandoned?
