Adjustment of Status - I-485

Long story short I had my interview for my I 485 application back on 06/04/2019. Due to my case being admin closed and not terminated with the immigration court uscis admin closed my case as well (online it was showing I 485 was denied). I filed motion to terminate my case with the judge and it was approved. On January 2020 I wrote a letter to local uscis asking to reopen my case along with proof of termination from judge. I was getting worried because my ead expires in july 2020 and I was told if I filed my renewal it would get denied since technically my case wasn't pending with uscis anymore. I finally got an updated on uscis website.

04/24/2020 - We reopened your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.

04/28/2020 - We sent a request for additional evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCZZZ. The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the request for evidence.

I understand I need to wait for this letter to find out what they need from me. However, if I send my ead renewal will it get approved since its been reopened? has anyone gone through something similar?
