Supplement J when I-485 interview canceled for self-petitioned NIW EB2
Dear All,
Desperately need your Help! I applied for NIW EB2: sent I-140 in May 2019, I-485 (without the medical form) in June 2019. I am self-petitioned (and I actually got the job that I said I was considering in I-140). I-140 was approved in January 2020. I-485 interview was scheduled for April 1st but got canceled due to coronavirus. I just got an RFE from USCIS (I assume they have canceled my interview and just want the evidence to finally decide my case): to my surprise they want not only the i-693 medical, but also the supllement J. How is it possible when I applied for NIW EB2? Is it a mistake on their part? I have a statement from my organization (national lab) that I have been employed full time since Oct 2019. But they want supplement J (I have to contact the legal deaprtment and ask them to fill it out while i self-petitioned and don't know how much time it's going to take them) - the RFE should be answered by June 1st so I barely have 10 days to respond. Please advise what to do in this situation???
