my parents recently got visa from the kolkata consulate. this would be their second visit and they were asked the following questions:
1. where did you stay last time?
2. what is your son's and daughter-in-law's(DIL) visa status?
3. what does your son(and DIL) do/where is he(and DIL) working?
4. did both of you visit last time too?
5. why did the visa get rejected last time? (they got the visa on second try last time)
6. what do you do/whats your background? (asked to both dad and mom)
7. how many days did you stay last time?
also, i heard someone else was asked a few days back why all the "letters to the consulate" and "invitation letters" looked the same- just wanted to point this out as a word of caution.
