My in-laws attended visitor visa interview at Chennai on Nov 10, and were issued visa for 10 years. My father-in-law was asked only two Qs:
1) Why did not you go last time when you were issued visa?
2) What is your son-in-law in USA?
The Telugu translator asked these Qs. The Consul was busy reading stuff from his computer, but was still listening to them.
My papers were not taken for examination. I prepared DS-156 e-forms here and sent them to India.
My father-in-law is 60+, and my mother-in-law is 50+. Only my mother-in-law visited us four and a half years ago.
